What we collect, and why.

Moretus publishes investment research. Delivering it requires a small amount of personal data. This page lists all of it — there is nothing beyond what you read here.

What we collect

Your email address, when you give it to us — for the free tier or for membership. One first-party attribution cookie, named “moretus_utm”, recording which link brought you here. Once checkout exists, a payment reference from the payment provider — never your card details, which we do not see and do not store.

Why we collect it

Three reasons, one per item: delivering research to your inbox; assigning founding seats in payment order; knowing which link brought you here. We collect nothing for any other purpose.

Where it lives

In a self-hosted database on our own infrastructure in the EU — Hetzner, Germany. No third-party analytics currently run on this site.

Cookies

One. The first-party “moretus_utm” cookie, used only for attribution, expiring after 30 days. No tracking pixels, no advertising networks.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete it. Email hello@moretus.io and we handle it directly.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for marketing. Your email receives our research and the emails needed to run your membership — nothing else.
